During this crazy year, I have been so grateful for every single session. This Santa Ynez Equine Photography session with Avery and Cumani was no exception. I met Avery a few years ago during a commercial shoot for Platinum Performance. Needless to say I thought Avery was quite the horsewoman right away. Therefore I was so excited to photograph her senior pictures with Cumani!

Avery and Cumani compete in 3 Day Eventing. Moreover, they are under the guidance of Trinity Eventing in Buellton. Naturally, I love all of my Santa Ynez Equine Shoots because the SYV is just gorgeous. However, this one with Avery and her beautiful grey was exceptional.

Even though we had some smoke in the air from the California fires, the photos turned out lovely. Especially with Avery’s lovely outfit options and color palette. Of course, I think every color goes with a pretty grey pony. However, the powder blue dress Avery wore had major Cinderella vibes.

Naturally Avery brought her sweet dog into some of the images as well. In addition, her horse and dog were perfect together. We finished up with a few solo shots of Avery in her FFA attire and a pretty silk top.

Clearly, I had beautiful subjects in front of me. So this Santa Ynez Equine Photography shoot with Avery and Cumani was a complete success. Even though the air quality challenged us, it couldn’t keep us down!
