Rosé in May – Hunter/ Jumper B Series Show
I love shooting at the Paso Robles Horse Park. When I first started at Cal Poly I was still riding English. Needless to say, I was a fish out of water amidst all the Wrangler jeans and cowboy boots. I hadn’t converted to the Western persuasion yet. However, the real hard part was the lack of English riding facilities on the Central Coast.
Fast forward to 2014 and the buzz around the county was a new horse park in the works. Park visionary, Linda Starkman had a big goal in mind. Linda had her eyes set on bringing a quality horse park to the Central Coast. As a result of her hard work and clear vision, she did.
Even though I’ve converted my lifestyle to riding cowhorses, I still have a deep love for the English disciplines. Not to mention the solid foundation it gave my riding. Additionally, the style is impeccable.
I was lucky enough to work with Park Director, Amanda to create some imagery for the Paso Robles Horse Park to use in their marketing. Essentially it meant I would get to hang out at the Horse Park shooting the rings, candid shots, facilities and a few win photos. Therefore I slapped on an EHP logo hat, plenty of sunscreen and stayed hydrated while I photographed the extremely well run Rosé in May show.
