This Dressage Horse Photography Session with Sunset and Blake was everything I hoped for. Sunset is a truly stunning horse. Furthermore, the relationship that Blake and Sunset enjoy is nothing short of stellar. Naturally the pair ride and compete in dressage under the guidance of Core Equestrian. Moreover, if I had my druthers I would photograph Dressage Horse Photography Sessions for the rest of my life.

Obviously, there is something to be said for the presence of a dressage horse. For one thing, they are natural showmen. I feel like they love to show off their skills and understand their role in a show arena. Obviously, Sunset is no exception and seemed to understand the concept of a photo session. Naturally he stood like a perfect gentlemen. Furthermore, he loved snuggling Blake and letting me see a sliver of their beautiful relationship. While I’m aware that every horse and rider relationship experiences its ups and downs, Blake and Sunset seem to be riding a high right now.

For this Dressage Horse Photography Session, Blake settled on a few outfits ranging from casual to formal. In fantastic dressage horse fashion, Sunset and Blake really turned on the charm with the formal black dress Blake donned. Undoubtedly, dressage horses like to be fancy. The same scenario happened with my session with Alice and Teddy. Simply put, Teddy preferred the formal wear. Naturally, Sunset did as well. As it happens Alice and Blake are barn mates and friends and helped each other on their respective shoots. Which I think is so much fun!
