with reiners – Ashley and Tina
I was so excited to travel to Sanger, California for this Booth Ranches Equine Photography Session with Ashley and Tina. You may have heard of Booth Ranches from their citrus growing operation. However, their Horse Division is equally impressive. Under the guidance of Tracer Gilson, their reining horse operation is flourishing. Ashley is one of the Youth Riders that trains at Booth Ranches. Additionally, she is preparing to start her freshman year at Fresno State on the equestrian team.
While the grounds at Booth Ranches is stunning, Ashley and Tina take the cake. Undoubtedly, the pair are stunning. Additionally, they are a phenomenal team in the show pen. I am always a huge fan of mares and Tina is certainly exceptional. Clearly, I also love whomever named her as “Dunnit N Chrome” just has a nice ring to it! Moreover, I love it when a bond between a horse and rider is apparent. Needless to say, it was clear that Ashley and Tina are a great team.
For this Booth Ranches Equine Photography session, we stuck close to the beautiful barns. Clearly, we were blessed to be shooting at such a pretty location. We simply didn’t have to go far for good light or pretty backgrounds. This session was such a lovely way for Ashley to close out her senior year of high school and get ready for freshman year of college. Obviously, we had to take a few shots in some Fresno State Equestrian gear.
We finished out this session with two of my new favorite reiners with a few mother-daughter shots. Without a doubt, horses are a wonderful thing to share with someone you love. Therefore we had to get mom and daughter together with their special mare to illustrate how beautiful and tough a little girl power can be.
