Hey There!
I've been a "crazy horse girl" since age 8 and began riding in breeches and tall boots. These days, you can catch me on my home-bred reined cow horse mare Stella. I’d love to do your story justice. Natural light is my jam and I will rock it for you. The outcome will be glowing memories to last a lifetime and I can promise you a lot of fun along the way. I love photographing the relationship between a horse and rider because it is one that I understand very well. I get the fact that sometimes you’d rather pass up a social event for a day at the barn. I 100% believe that the smell of fresh hay is the best smell in the world and clean tack is a beautiful thing. Let's have a blast together!
My Story
I was a painfully shy child. One day while in my hometown of San Francisco, I was having a picnic lunch with my mom in Golden Gate Park. A rider came down the path and I pleaded with my mom to let us follow them back towards the barn where they were heading. She saw me come out of my shell and knew right then and there that she better sign this horse crazy kid up for lessons.
The passion never faded and it lead me all the way to Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo where I earned my degree in Animal Science with a concentration in Equine Production. I bought my first horse after college and loved her with all my heart and then some. I lost her suddenly due to tragedy and quickly realized how little imagery I had of our cherished time together. She was one of the most important and meaningful relationships in my life and I only had a few, old pixelated images of her.
In that moment I realized the importance of capturing moments with your equine companion. As well as fact that only someone that truly understands the relationship, can do it justice. You want someone that knows very intimately how much you love your horse. Someone who knows that your relationship with your horse has and will continue to change your life. It's a relationship worth celebrating and worth documenting. Let's tell your story together
I would love nothing more than to do your story justice. We will laugh, make strange noises to get your horse’s ears up (did you know there’s an app for that?), and feed your buddy lots and lots of cookies for a job well done!
