with Shae, Buddy and Faith
I loved this Senior Equine Photography Session with Shae, Buddy and Faith at the Fairlea Ranch in Exeter, California. Shae is such a light in this world and I consider myself honored to have been a part of her graduation experience. Senior Equine Photography Sessions will always have my heart. Since this is something I did not experience myself. Mostly due to the fact that I bought my first horse after graduation! Additionally, Equine Photography was not as prevalent during my graduation time. Honestly, I doubt I even considered it. Which is why I am SO grateful that seniors today so factor their horse into their senior photos.
I met Shae and her lovely ponies (as well as her awesome mom) at the Fairlea Ranch. In typical California Central Valley fashion, it was hot hot hot. However, you’d never know it because Shae is like a cool breeze on a hot day in human form. Obviously, the air conditioned living quarters trailer was an immense blessing in between outfit changes. Since Shae chose my two hour package, she has 2-3 outfit changes. Naturally, its my favorite package! Not only do we get plenty of time together as well as outfit changes, but the wooden box of prints is my favorite part. Therefore, you receive your images in three places. Of course in a private online gallery. Additionally, as prints and on a thumb drive.
My other favorite aspect of my Senior Equine Photography Session with Shae is that she brought her old ready steady horse Buddy. Obviously we shot with her newer and younger barrel horse Faith. But Shae also brought Buddy. The horse that helped build her and teach her the ropes so to speak. There is a special place in the world for older horses that build us.
Moreover, after our session I received the kindest message from Shae thanking me. It is something I still think about to this day and am grateful for such wonderful clients.
