Natalie, Junior and Otto
This Santa Barbara Equestrian shoot with Natalie, Junior and Otto was special. I first met Natalie about two years ago at Coastal Equine Ranch. She was about to graduate Cal Poly and we documented that time in her life together. Since I was terrible about blogging in the past I can’t link to that session. Fail. Therefore my goal is to go back and blog past sessions that I never got around to blogging. Obviously under a #ThrowbackThursday kind of vibe. Needless to say, that’s the goal!
This session with Natalie and Junior also involved her new puppy Otto! Without a doubt I love it when your small furry friend can come to your session as well. Especially when a puppy is as well behaved as Otto. Clearly, Natalie has some stellar puppy training skills because Otto was the bestest boy.
Needless to say this session was special as well because it was commemorating Natalie’s graduation from her Masters program. Natalie is one of the smartest, kindest and more interesting people I’ve ever met. I hear she’s going for her Ph.D next so I can only hope I get to document that time in her life as well. Her beautiful bay horse Junior is now officially 17 and entering retirement. Therefore Junior will get to live the life of Riley on the hillsides of Santa Barbara and Natalie will get to ride and visit him between classes.
Check out some of the images we created together during our Santa Barbara Equestrian shoot below. Contact me here to book your own session! Also peep Natalie’s adorable hat from the Salt Ranch. I need one.
