Before this awesome Ocala Florida Equine Photograph session could take place, I had some commercial work to do. I traveled to Florida this year to do some commercial work for Platinum Performance. It was a great week, especially since the Winter Equestrian Festival draws top riders from all over the world.

I love working for Platinum Performance and seeing riders at the top of their disciplines. We photographed some show jumpers, dressage riders, hunter riders and some Eventers. After an intense week of shooting around Wellington, we ended our week in Ocala.

Since I had some friends in the area, I stayed a day longer. Additionally, I got to spend time with my college friend turned veterinarian. Somehow I convinced him to be my chauffeur and show me some of the equestrian areas in Ocala. We got to visit the HITS Horse Shows showgrounds. As well as the site for the new World Equestrian Center.

This Ocala Florida Equine Photography session, was for Tara and her beautiful bay horses. Tara is a show jumper originally from the Central Coast. We have a few mutual friends but had never met before. Therefore, it seemed like a perfect time since I was in the area! While Tara has been riding as an Adult Amateur for a few years now, she decided to move to Florida a few months ago to further her career.

As a result, Tara started Stone Bridge Farm in Ocala, Florida. Tara found Florida to be a great hub for show jumper equestrians like her. Undoubtedly, Stone Bridge Farm will be a great success for Tara. She has several stellar mounts to show and work with. As a result, I’m sure we will be seeing more of her as horse shows slowly begin to pick back up.

Show jumping has been a passion for Tara for years. I’m so excited for her to go farther in the sport as she develops some wonderful young horses. Furthermore, I’m excited to see her kick butt as a rider. This Ocala, Florida Equine Photography session was a blast. Even though we froze out hind ends off, we got some great images of Tara and her stunning horses.
