Morro Bay Equine Shoot

with Sherrie and Beretta

I went to a familiar place for this Morro Bay Equine Shoot with Sherrie and Beretta. Moreover, you may recognize the ranch from her daughter’s wedding. Or perhaps from the equine session I did with Shannon and Wick? Or Maybe Shannon and Devin’s engagement session? Either way, many beautiful times have been had at the family’s ranch. However this time it was mama’s turn. As a sweet thank you her mom, Shannon purchased an equine photo session with me for her mom.

Rodeo runs deep in this family. Since dad is steer wrestling NFR legend, mom barrel races and sister Katie barrel races as well. Beretta is a home-bred horse and is a huge stunning roan. Naturally, Sherrie and Beretta have a special bond since they’ve been together for Beretta’s whole life! Obviously it’s so special that the entire family has a great time with rodeo, ranching and raising great horses. To top it all off the entire family is hilarious and special and I enjoy every opportunity I have to go out and document a part of their lives.

Luckily Morro Bay had better air quality since we were so close to the ocean. But it was crazy how much smoke could be seen in the air!
