Equine Black Background Portraits
Los Osos Valley Equine Farm is better know by the barn boarders as LOVE Farm. I used to live right down the road when I was right out of college. I love heading out to LOVE Farm for a series of Black Background portraits. Everyone is so nice and it’s always a pleasure to serve these clients. As a result, LOVE Farm is the type of barn every little girl dreams of growing up in.
Equine Black Background portraits are pretty affordable and they can be done at any time of day. As a result, people tend to book multiple sessions a year. Sometimes it’s fun to do a winter session when your horse is cute a fluffy. For instance, I’ve offered Christmas mini sessions that feature a holiday wreath and its a completely adorable way to showcase your horse. The more traditional portraits are timeless and make for a standout piece of art in your home when printed on canvas or metal.
Equine Black Background portraits only require a solid sided covered barn aisle, garage or hay barn. Therefore, you are able to create a sort of natural light “studio”. Then the rest is taken care of by capable handlers and skilled editing.
There are plenty of styles of black background portraits but I like mine to look like a nod to the painted portraits that used to be traditional art in homes. My favorite thing about them is that they highlight your horse’s coat and muscle development. It’s a true Equine Portrait in my humble opinion.
LOVE Farm is always fun and I’m so grateful I get to hang out with the super cool people in this barn. There is one particular boarder than regularly creates a hilarious “diary” for her horse. The updates make me crack up any time I see them. On this particular session date, there were bays for days and they were lovely.
