Dressage Olympian Kasey Perry-Glass

This session with Dressage Olympian Kasey Perry-Glass was magical. Since Kasey is used to performance photos, we set out for a more casual approach. Naturally she has plenty of show photos, including some from the Rio Olympics of her and Dublet! However, images that show their relationship are rare. Therefore we had to capture Kasey and her equine partners at home.

I met Kasey on a recent Platinum Performance shoot. Obviously I found her to be so fun and kind. Additionally her assistant Megan is such an awesome person. Unquestionably, you must go follow them on Instagram. Their Stories are hilarious as well as show the hard work that goes in to being a Dressage Olympian. Furthermore, the canine crew they hang out with is a laugh a minute. Moreover, the way they take care of their horses is inspiring. Not only are they treated like top athletes, but they are deeply loved as well.

Additionally, we photographed Kasey’s husband Dana. Dana operates “Two Worlds Equestrian“. Obviously, this name is perfect blending Dana’s western background and Kasey’s dressage. Dressage Olympian Kasey Perry-Glass + Colt Starter Dana Glass? Clearly a match made in Heaven in the arena and out. I can’t wait to see what these two accomplish together.

It should be noted we also got to take some lovely images of Kasey and Dana together. Kasey told me they never had engagement photos done so we simply had to remedy that. Obviously I love engagement photos. But it’s always nice to see a married couple shoot those type of images. The comfort level goes up, zero jitters, and lots of fun!

I had an absolute blast with Dressage Olympian Kasey Perry-Glass and all her equine athletes. And especially with Megan and Dana. It takes a great team, a lot of dedication, and a lot of love for the horse.
