Central Coast Equestrian Photography

with Sasha and Amoudi Bay

This session is the epitome of Central Coast Equestrian Photography in my humble opinion. A beautiful girl, a heart felt bond with her horse, and golden light on a vineyard. Therefore I’d be a happy gal if all my days included sunshine, beautiful horses and girls that love them. Sasha has a wonderful relationship with her horse Amoudi Bay. Additionally he happens to be named after a particular bay in Greece where Sasha has traveled to with her family. Naturally, he goes by Moody for short. Moody and Sasha had Sasha’s mom and best friend to help out with the session and all I can say is I love when a plan comes together.

As luck would have it, we were able to shoot at one of my favorite locations on the Central Coast. Oyster Ridge is a lovely vineyard in Santa Margarita. Therefore I am very fortunate with the connections I have forged there to be able to photograph there from time to time. Naturally Central Coast Equestrian Photography takes a village from time to time in order to provide safe and gorgeous locations for horses and riders. Since I’ve been on the Central Coast for over 14 years, I know all the good locations!

I love how the golden light played with Sasha’s stunning red hair and her fair skin. Moody’s dark coat was a striking contrast and I have to say the pair looked perfect together.
