Holiday imagery and Delicious Food

If you live on the Central Coast, you are probably familiar with Ancient Peaks Winery. The adorable one-street town of Santa Margarita is home to the Ancient Peaks Winery and tasting room. While there are a ton of wineries on the Central Coast, this one is still part of a historic working cattle ranch. The food in the tasting room is delicious and the ambiance can’t be beat. Top it off with the fantastic people that work there, and you’ve got yourself an excellent day of wine tasting.

Since the chef prepares the most delicious food for photo shoot days, its always a fun day. As a result, everyone that helps gets to eat it! Basically its a day of food, friends and creativity. Sometimes businesses need to represent their brands digitally and planning a shoot day is the perfect way to do that. Naturally I brought by styling surfaces from Replica Surfaces and I was ready to go! Since these surfaces clean off easily, they were a great addition to the day and made transitioning between shots pretty seamless.

With careful planning, we were able to shoot content for year-round, holidays and the awesome tasting room kitchen. Get the Figgy Piggy, its my favorite sandwich on the menu! Order it with a bottled root beer. You can thank me later.

In case you were wondering, the stuffed mushrooms and oysters were amazing. I might have gained a few extra pounds after this shoot but I was pretty ok with it. I never knew food photography could be so fun.
